Neil Francis was working as an Accountant when he initially enquired about buying a property. Neil Francis was working as an Accountant when he initially enquired about buying a property. He was renting a property near work and wanted to purchase a property to live in. During the initial conversation he decided to move positions, to take a job as a self-employed daily rate contractor. With no history of self-employment or contracting, Neil was concerned that lenders may not look favourably on his new situation. We were able to obtain a mortgage using his contract value, rather than waiting for his accounts to be completed.

What Neil says….

I first came across Charlotte when I had recently taken the decision to become self-employed. High street banks told me I needed 2 years of accounts before I could get a mortgage, Charlotte was very quickly able to disprove this and gathered information for a mortgage based on my daily rate. Throughout the process Charlotte updated me on the application, if she said she would call me later, she called me, she did exactly what I needed by answering all questions from the mortgage provider, I did not have to talk to the provider once. I have since engaged Charlotte on two further applications, once for a re-mortgage and again for a buy-to-let mortgage. Based on Charlotte’s knowledge and level of service I have no problems recommending her services. Going forward Charlotte will be the first person I call for any other purchases/mortgage advice.
